The Monash University Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences is one of Australia's preeminent medical schools, and offers the broadest range of undergraduate and postgraduate medicine-related programs of any Australian university. The Faculty operates on campuses at Clayton, Peninsula (Frankston) and Caulfield campuses in metropolitan Melbourne, at Gippsland (offering a particular capability in rural health education) and uniquely delivers courses accredited by the Australian Medical Council at the University's Sunway campus in Malaysia. In 2007, the Faculty's teaching and learning performance was recognised through gaining of the Australian Government's number one ranking in the Health category, a ranking that it currently holds.
